Unlike a solid membrane RF weld overlap, any open fabric mesh RF weld overlap, whether horizontal or vertical will result by showing a visible line which may be unsightly if the application prefers as seamless as possible.
EIDE Industries was confronted with this task as the client wanted the super sized famous artist murals that would go on the new parking garage to be as seamless as possible. The project is using a printed Serge Ferrari fabric mesh and is framed with the FACID 65 system. To show the client their options, a prototype was made and the client choose the FACID 65 Joint Profile Cover Cap with glued on printed fabric mesh precisely aligned with the graphics on both the left side and the right side of the tall vertical panels. Mission accomplished!
